ROXWELL JEWELLERY
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE AND WEBSITE USE
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Welcome to Roxwell Jewellery. These Terms & Conditions explain how you can use our website, purchase our jewellery and exercise your rights as a customer.
Please read them before placing an order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. ABOUT US
Roxwell Jewellery (“Roxwell”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an online jewellery retailer offering everyday jewellery, sterling silver jewellery, gemstone jewellery, bridal jewellery and occasion accessories.
Our website is https://roxwelljewellery.com.
Trading name: Roxwell Jewellery
Legal business owner: Tracy Coleman
Business address: Cardiff Wales UK
Customer service email: traccoleman@gmail.com
Our website is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products for sale.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using our website, you agree to comply with the website-use provisions of these Terms & Conditions.
When purchasing products, the terms applicable to your order are those made available to you before you place it.
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.
We may update these terms periodically. Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms of an existing order unless agreed with you or required by law.
3. PRODUCTS AND DESCRIPTIONS
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, materials and measurements are accurate.
Our collections may include:
● Stainless steel and PVD-coated jewellery
● Gold-plated jewellery
● Sterling silver jewellery
● Natural gemstone and pearl jewellery
● Cubic zirconia and crystal jewellery
● Bridal and occasion jewellery
● Personalised or custom-configured jewellery
The materials used will be identified in individual product descriptions.
Photographs are intended to represent our products accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings and lighting.
Natural gemstones, pearls and other natural materials may vary in colour, pattern, shape and appearance. These natural variations are not necessarily defects.
Where measurements are provided, they are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.
We will not knowingly describe a product as sterling silver, solid gold, natural gemstone or hallmarked unless we have a reasonable basis for that description.
Product availability may change. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.
4. JEWELLERY CARE AND MATERIALS
Different jewellery materials require different levels of care.
Customers should follow the care information provided with the product or on our website.
Unless a product is expressly described as suitable for particular conditions, we recommend avoiding unnecessary exposure to perfumes, chemicals, cleaning products, chlorine, salt water and prolonged moisture.
Gold plating and other surface finishes may change with wear, friction and exposure to substances over time.
Descriptions such as “water-resistant”, “tarnish-resistant” or “waterproof” apply only where specifically stated for the individual product and must be understood alongside any product-specific care instructions.
Such descriptions do not remove your statutory rights if a product is faulty, misdescribed or fails to meet applicable legal standards.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage and damage caused by misuse are distinguished from manufacturing faults in accordance with applicable consumer law.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).
Prices include applicable UK taxes where required.
Any delivery charges will be displayed before you complete checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices for future purchases without notice.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Payments are processed using Shopify and the relevant payment providers. Roxwell does not require customers to send payment card information by email.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error before a contract has been formed, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.
Once a contract has been formed, any correction or cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable law and your consumer rights.
6. PLACING AN ORDER
To purchase a product:
1. Select the product and any available options.
2. Add the product to your basket.
3. Review your basket and correct any errors.
4. Enter your delivery and contact details.
5. Select an available delivery and payment method.
6. Review the total price before placing your order.
7. Submit your order using the checkout payment button.
You are responsible for providing accurate information.
After placing an order, you will receive an acknowledgement by email.
An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted.
A contract for the sale of goods is formed when we send confirmation that your order has been accepted or dispatched, whichever occurs first.
If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken.
We may refuse orders where we reasonably suspect fraud, payment problems or unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.
7. AVAILABILITY AND STOCK
All products are subject to availability.
We aim to maintain accurate stock records, but occasional discrepancies may occur.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to offer an appropriate alternative or a refund.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
8. DELIVERY
We currently deliver to the destinations made available at checkout.
Delivery options, charges and estimated timescales will be shown before payment.
Our current delivery information is available at: shipping
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website or in the relevant product listing.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree to delivery by a particular date.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed.
If delivery is delayed, we will communicate with you and respect your rights under applicable consumer law.
Where a delivery date is essential and has been agreed, or where other statutory grounds apply, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund if we fail to deliver as required.
We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered into your physical possession or that of a person you have nominated, subject to the applicable legal rules where you independently arrange your own carrier.
If an order arrives damaged, incomplete or does not arrive, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
9. CANCELLING AN ONLINE ORDER
For most products purchased online, UK consumers have a legal right to cancel without giving a reason.
The normal cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receive the goods.
Where an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the last item.
To exercise your right to cancel, contact us by email at traccoleman@gmail.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
You may use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you are not required to do so.
If you cancel after receiving your goods, you must send them back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your cancellation.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation, unless we agree otherwise or the law requires us to pay.
We recommend obtaining proof of postage.
You may inspect and handle goods as you reasonably would in a shop. You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
10. CANCELLATION EXCEPTIONS
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to certain goods, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, where the relevant legal exception applies.
For Roxwell, this may include certain jewellery pieces individually made or specifically personalised for a customer.
Selecting an ordinary stocked chain length, birthstone or product variation does not automatically make a product exempt from cancellation rights.
We will clearly identify any applicable cancellation exception before purchase.
For sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, a statutory exception may apply if the goods become unsealed after delivery and the legal conditions are satisfied.
We do not impose a blanket exclusion on all earrings or pierced jewellery.
These exceptions relate to change-of-mind cancellation and do not remove statutory rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or unsatisfactory goods.
11. REFUNDS FOLLOWING CANCELLATION
Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund payments received for the cancelled goods, including the cost of standard outbound delivery where required by law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, we are not required to refund the additional amount above our least expensive standard delivery option.
We will make the refund without undue delay and within the legally required period.
Where goods have already been dispatched, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
We will not charge a refund fee for exercising your statutory cancellation right.
12. FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED PRODUCTS
All goods supplied by Roxwell must comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
This includes requirements that goods are:
● Of satisfactory quality
● Fit for their intended purpose, including any particular purpose agreed with us
● As described
If your jewellery is faulty, damaged or not as described, you may have legal rights to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction, depending on the circumstances.
For qualifying faulty goods, consumers generally have a short-term right to reject within 30 days.
Further rights may apply after that period, including repair or replacement and, in appropriate circumstances, a price reduction or refund.
These rights may continue beyond any commercial warranty period, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
Where the law requires us to cover reasonable return costs for faulty goods, we will do so.
Please contact traccoleman@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
Photographs can help us investigate a problem, but we will not make the provision of photographs an absolute condition of exercising statutory rights.
Nothing in our returns policy, jewellery-care advice or supplier warranty limits these rights.
13. PERSONALISED AND CUSTOM JEWELLERY
Some Roxwell products may allow customers to select birthstones, chain lengths, charms or other details.
Please check your selections carefully before placing an order.
Where a product is genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation exception may apply.
We will explain this clearly before purchase where relevant.
Customisation does not remove your rights where an item is faulty, misdescribed or supplied incorrectly.
If we make an error when preparing your order, please contact us so that we can resolve it.
14. BRIDAL AND OCCASION JEWELLERY
Bridal and occasion jewellery is subject to the same statutory consumer protections as other products.
We recommend ordering sufficiently in advance of weddings, ceremonies and other important events.
If delivery by a particular date is essential, please contact us before purchasing so that we can confirm whether that date can be agreed.
We do not guarantee suitability for a particular outfit, hairstyle or event unless expressly agreed.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
15. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
Promotional offers are subject to their published terms.
Any eligibility requirements, expiry dates or restrictions will be made clear.
Discounts cannot necessarily be combined unless expressly stated.
We will not use misleading price comparisons, false scarcity claims or misleading promotional information.
16. PRODUCT SAFETY
We aim to supply jewellery that meets applicable UK product safety requirements.
Customers should follow any warnings or care instructions supplied with the products.
Jewellery may contain small components and is not intended as a toy unless expressly identified as such.
Please keep unsuitable small jewellery components away from young children.
If you experience irritation or a suspected reaction to a product, stop wearing it and contact us.
We will not describe jewellery as hypoallergenic, nickel-free or suitable for sensitive skin unless the claim is supported by appropriate product information.
17. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep our website accessible and functioning correctly.
However, occasional interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, improve or temporarily suspend website features where necessary.
We will not use this section to exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the Roxwell name, branding, original website content, photographs, text and designs owned by us are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Some product photographs and materials are used with permission from our suppliers or other rights holders.
You may use our website for lawful personal shopping purposes.
You must not reproduce or commercially exploit protected content without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
19. CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND COMMUNICATIONS
We welcome genuine feedback and reviews.
Reviews must not knowingly contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening or misleading material.
We may moderate content where reasonably necessary and lawful.
We will not knowingly misrepresent reviews or publish fabricated customer testimonials.
Where reviews are incentivised or have another material connection to Roxwell, we will make appropriate disclosures.
20. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared, including the involvement of Shopify and relevant service providers.
Please read our Privacy Policy at:

Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable law.
21. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment processors and delivery providers.
Third-party websites may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for unrelated third-party websites that we do not control.
However, the involvement of a third-party provider does not remove our legal obligations to customers purchasing goods from Roxwell.
22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for:
● Death or personal injury caused by negligence
● Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
● Breach of statutory consumer rights
● Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited
We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill where those losses are foreseeable.
A loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of the breach or was contemplated by both parties when the contract was made.
We are not responsible for losses that are not legally attributable to our breach or negligence.
Our products are sold primarily for personal consumer use. Where goods are purchased for business purposes, any applicable limitation of liability will be subject to the relevant law and the circumstances of the contract.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
23. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to fulfil an order.
These may include significant transport disruption, natural disasters or other exceptional events.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and inform affected customers.
Where such events prevent or materially delay fulfilment, your rights to cancel or receive a refund will be respected in accordance with applicable law.
24. COMPLAINTS
We aim to resolve customer concerns fairly and promptly.
If you have a complaint, please email:
Please include your order number, a description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking.
We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable period and keep you informed where further investigation is needed.
If we cannot resolve a complaint, we will provide information about any applicable dispute-resolution options where legally required.
25. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections applicable to you.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents a consumer from bringing proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
26. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
